While the members of the group are hoisting up the MREs, the rope ends up snapping which of course, Daryl makes the split second decision to catch the bag of MREs with his hand. They are officially called, Lurkers, which are zombies known to play dead due to famish and starvation. Yes it's true, the large group of zombies were actually SLEEPING.īelieve it or not, these "sleeping zombies" are actually a thing in The Walking Dead comic book universe. Although it can be seen that the survivors are hoisting up the delicious MREs onto the upper level, the remaining characters down below are completely surrounded by sleeping zombies. That sounds pretty easy enough, right? When it comes to The Walking Dead, some things are never accomplished so easily.
